Always reading

I've finished Practicle guide to Linux. Pretty good book, but a little dated. I've now moved onto the Rute User's Tutorial and Exposition. I know it's available free, but I liked what I saw enough to buy it. This is good.

I haven't had much time to play with the computer. I have installed FireFox, and that caused my xterm to default to the firefox-installer directory. I can't seem to get that straightened out yet. I also installed Wine. That took forever to install.

I'm going to start college this fall. It's been a long time since I've done any school. I don't want to pay and my company will pick that up, but there is a bit of paperwork I have to do first. I'll get that rolling real soon.

That's all I have for the moment. I'm trying to get my vacation planned.
